Message

Commissioner, Nidhi Pandey, IIS
Dear Students, Teachers, and Parents,
On the momentous occasion of Foundation Day 2024 of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), I extend my heartfelt greetings to each one of you. From its humble beginnings in 1963, KVS has grown into an inspiring institution of excellence in school education. This remarkable journey continues to evolve, driven by an unwavering spirit of innovation and progress.

Shri Shaik Tajuddin
Deputy Commissioner
Kendriya Vidyalayas are conspicuous centers of excellence, creativity and learning that mould the students of today into responsible citizens of tomorrow. They offer an environment conducive to not only cognitive development, but also building character and thus creating holistic individuals equipped with key 21st century skills. The teachers are the most substantial resources of the Vidyalaya, who are readily adapting to the demands of an ever changing educational scenario where the traditional is constantly replaced by the modern. They keep abreast of the latest changes, be it pedagogy or technology, with a view to providing the best to their students. Students flower and flourish under the affectionate care and guidance of the mentors, who guide and assist them to confront and address real challenges in life. They learn, new domains and concepts and to wield their faculties to come up with ideas that can change the society. The vision of Kendriya Vidyalayas is to develop an equitable and vibrant knowledge society as envisioned by the NEP 2020.We aim to develop human beings capable of rational thought and action, possessing compassion and empathy, courage and resilience, scientific temper and creative imagination with ethical values. The multi- cultural and linguistic diversity of the Kendriya Vidyalayas, where children come from diverse backgrounds broadens their horizon and offers them an exposure that surpasses mere textbook learning. Thus children celebrate various festivals and enjoy art and music of different cultures. This sensitizes them to the rich cultural diversity of India. In this journey of self - enrichment and enhancement, the role of parents, teachers and the other mentors of the Vidyalaya are equally important. Let us march together into the future, with courage and conviction. In the words of Swami Vivekananda, Arise, awake and stop not till the goal is reached.

“Life is a journey. The path one takes, what one looks back on, and what one looks forward to, is up to one. One determines one’s destination” The tradition of excellence is ours, the choice is yours. For us, this journey of excellence is perennial. It has indeed been a long and enriching journey of more than fifty years, with the vision of providing holistic and globally relevant education to the young minds of india, kendriya vidyalaya sangathan has today become a cornerstone in helping generations of students to dream, visualize and plan for their bright future. Today the role of a school is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower its students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and productive members of an ever changing global society. At PM SHRI KV Dogra Lines Meerut, we provide an atmosphere to our students for all round development, where students are helped to channelize their potential in pursuit of excellence. This can only be possible in a holistic, student centric environment. The talents, skills and abilities of each student need to be identified, nurtured and encouraged so that he/ she is able to reach greater heights. Keeping it in view, students are provided with a platform to think, express and exhibit their skills. The school is striving hard to make the best possible efforts to inculcate strong values combining with academic and extra- curricular activities in the children. Converting every individual into a self reliant and independent citizen, the vidyalaya provides an amalgam of scholastic and co scholastic activities. At PM SHRI KV Dogra Lines Meerut, our approaches to learning is child centric encouraging activity based learning and inculcating a scientific temper and spirit of free enquiry. In our curriculum the student is the primary focus and each child is involved in the learning process. We are constantly improving our teaching methodology so that it turns learning into combination of classroom study, research and scientific discovery. The credentials of the vidyalaya speak for itself through the success of its students who left their trail on traditional as well as uncharted fields with unprecedented success in every conceivable field. We continue our ascent towards success by excelling ourselves today, tomorrow and forever. Accepting as true, Henry Ford’s words “Life begins with one step outside of your comfort zone,” the vidyalaya aspires to create a symphony in the heart of its young pupils, such that it exudes pure music and propels them to the exalted position that is the beginning of a wonderful dream.
