Under Nipun Lakshya Program, PM SHRI KV DOGRA LINES adapted FLN in Primary Section to achieve the goals set in NIPUN mission to attain Foundational Literacy and Numeracy from classes 1 to 3.
For the effective application of FLN miscellaneous periods like Library, Work Education were used as FLN periods in classes 1,2, 3. The aim behind giving the FLN periods is to ensure to fill the learning gaps in the students (specially slow bloomers) to make them attain Literacy and Numeracy to the level of targeted learning outcomes further to ensure that children learn in a joyful manner through play, stories, rhymes, activities and develop strong foundations for lifelong learning.
